Mega Corp. is seeking a Blaster/Paint Shop Helper to complete blasting procedures and assists the actual painting of all products including mobile water tanks, trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and piece work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performs preparation of products by sandblasting, grinding, sanding, applying body filler putty, and masking when needed
  2. Assisting the Painters by mixing and applying primers, masticks, and paint
  3. Maintain cleanliness in and around the shop area by taking out the trash, sweeping, stocking supplies, etc.

Other duties may be assigned.

This Position Supervises: This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year blasting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Have good eye-hand coordination
  • Ability to follow repetitive work and follow verbal instructions

  3. Applies interior anti-corrosive paint in the water tanks, and moves product in and out of paint bay
  4. Climb in and out of tanks for interior cleaning/prep/paint

Mega Corp. is seeking a Parts Sales Representative to join our team.

Required Skill Set:

  1. Basic PC including demonstrable competence with MS Windows, Outlook email and calendar system
  2. Basic demonstrable competence with MS Excel and Word. Applicant will be asked to demonstrate skills.
  3. Good communication skill in both verbal and writing. Applicant will be asked to write sample letters/paragraphs.
  4. Good demonstrable business math skills including percentage work for mark up, margin, and discount calculation. Applicant will be tested.

Desired Skill Set:

  1. Bilingual – Spanish / English. Speak, read and write
  2. Technical – Any Mechanical, electrical, heavy equipment or automotive experience. Will be required to train on Mega equipment manufacturing floor and warehouse / shipping department
  3. Previous parts sales experience, particularly automotive or heavy equipment
  4. Previous customer contact experience

Physical:

  1. Drug test required
  2. This is a desk job requiring sitting for long periods
  3. Requires talking on phone using handset and headset
  4. Requires use of PC type desk computer in cubicle environment

Education:

Require minimum high school diploma or GED. Undergraduate degree or training in business a plus.

Job Summary:

  • Achieve Production Schedule completion dates on time by monitoring and supervising activities of production personnel
  • Achieve manufacturing efficiencies relative to established budgets
  • Oversee the overall manufacturing process to ensure optimized production
  • Supervise and direct technical personnel responsible for all stages of production to ensure manufacture of high quality and cost-effective products
  • Oversee the planning and organization of the production process and ensure availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for a project
  • Participate in the preparation of cost estimates and budget required for manufacturing projects
  • Arrange for or conduct inspections to ensure production machinery are operational and efficient
  • Facilitate maintenance, repair, or replacement of damaged equipment
  • Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and standards
  • Delegate and assign work schedules and tasks to technical employees
  • Implement action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high-quality production
  • Work with other departmental managers to ensure finished products meet quality requirements
  • Ensure manufacturing and production personnel comply with health and safety policies when carrying out job duties
  • Motivate a manufacturing team to achieve set objectives and targets
  • Organize training programs to enhance personnel job skill and knowledge
  • Present reports of manufacturing operations to company management

Position Requirements:

  • A5-10+ years of experience in a management role in the manufacture of fabricated steel structures
  • Experience in the manufacture of off-highway equipment preferred
  • High School degree required. Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Willing to relocate to Albuquerque, New Mexico
