 MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT EMERITUS

Jim Kunz Photo

Sorry for the long delay since our last newsletter – we have been busy at Mega!

For those of you who may not have heard, Mega’s owner passed away in August – we are sorry for his family’s loss and I have included a copy of the announcement below, for those of you who may not have seen it. It is important re-emphasize that Mega’s management team is not negatively impacted by this event and our business continues to operate without any issue. Phoebe Hire; Mega’s COO/CFO and myself have been co-managing the business for over 20 years and are committed to continuing to serve in this capacity for the foreseeable future.

In fact, I am pleased to report that our business is not just stable but thriving, and Phoebe and I are making excellent progress recruiting, hiring and putting-in-place the next generation of leaders and key personnel for Mega – many of these roles have now been filled or have people in-line to fill them when appropriate. I have said before, and it is more true now than ever: This is the best overall group of employees and leaders Mega has had in the time Phoebe and I have been with the company.

Elsewhere in this newsletter you can see the names and photos of our most recent additions to the team, as well as key promotions. We have added talent to most every aspect of the business, and it is happening at a good time – sales continue to be robust and our efforts to expand the business to more geographic markets
are strong.

We are looking forward to continuing to serve our customers, employees, suppliers and manufacturing partners around the world. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for your business and for Thinking of Mega!

President Emeritus & CDO

MEGA ANNOUNCES PASSING OF COMPANY OWNER

We regret to announce the sudden passing of Mega Corp. owner and CEO; Randy Schlegel. We offer our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues.

Randy was born and raised in Albuquerque. He attended El Dorado High school and later went on to study business at the University of New Mexico where he received his BBA and later his MBA. At 25 he became a licensed CPA and worked in New York, San Francisco, and Denver, before returning to Albuquerque to join Mega Corp. In 1995. The company his father; Bill, had co-founded in 1976. The company grew significantly during his ownership and established itself as an international business with a skilled workforce and a sound reputation for manufacturing and supporting quality products. Although not often in the public eye, Randy was very proud of Mega, its accomplishments and the strength of our brand name within our industry. Mega’s management team wants to reassure our employees, customers, suppliers and partners that our leadership team remains intact and normal operations will continue despite this loss.
